Gonzalo Higuain shines at Stamford Bridge
Feb 03, 2019
Gonzalo Higuain has scored his first two goals for Chelsea, as they thrashed Huddersfield 5-nil in the Premier League last night.
In his first home appearance since joining on loan, Higuain scored the opening goal in the 16th minute, then added a second in the 69th minute.
Eden Hazard also netted a brace, while David Luiz completed the scoring with a late header.
With Higuain and Hazard both scoring twice, boss Maurizio Sarri says the game showed how the pair complement each other.
Sarri adds he was delighted that The Blues bounced back, following Thursday's heavy defeat at Bournemouth.

Supercharged Son
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says Son Heung-min's energy is like "a battery", after his late strike beat Newcastle 1-nil.
The South Korean forward scored with seven minutes left, as his powerful 20-yard shot went under Newcastle's goalkeeper.
Spurs' victory has moved them to second in the Premier League table, four points behind leaders Liverpool.
Spurs have also set a Premier League record as they reached 29 matches in a row without a draw, surpassing Bolton's mark of 28 set in 2011.

Neil Warnock emotional after Bournemouth win
Neil Warnock says he is the "proudest man" as Cardiff manager, after an emotional 2-nil EPL win over Bournemouth.
The game was Cardiff's first home fixture, since new signing Emiliano Sala went missing on a plane, over the English Channel two weeks ago.
Tributes were paid to the Argentine before and during the match, with Warnock tearing up at the final whistle, as he took a lap to thank the fans.
Meanwhile, a seabed search for the missing aircraft carrying Sala will start later today.
