FAM to lodge complaint over World Cup qualifier hooligans
Sep 07, 2019
FAM will lodge an official complaint to FIFA and the AFC, on the crowd trouble during Malaysia's 3-2 victory over Indonesia in their World Cup qualifier in Jakarta.
It says there's no place for gangsterism in football, and is disappointed with how Indonesia's governing body handled the situation.
FAM believe Indonesia had failed to control their fans, which ultimately tarnished the image of Indonesian football.
Some Indonesian fans were seen throwing bottles and stones towards the Malaysian fans' section, which forced the match to be halted for 10 minutes.

The 22-year-old believes the solution to the problem is simple - ensuring users are only allowed one account per platform.
Rashford is one of several players abused in recent weeks - subjected to racist tweets moments after missing a penalty, during United's 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace last month.
