May 19, 2020
Premier League clubs have agreed to start training in small groups from today, as they prepare for the resumption of the season.
This is stage one of the return to training protocols under Project Restart, which enables squads to train while maintaining social distancing.
Surprise inspections, GPS tracking and video analysis are among the methods that will be used to ensure players and staff adhere to new safety guidelines.
Meanwhile, officials have also agreed that the idea of the league resuming on June 12th is flexible, and they will be prepared if this needs to be pushed back.
