EPL 2019-20 all set and ready to go!

Aug 09, 2019

The English football transfer window has closed, with a number of significant signings made before the deadline.

Tottenham made two additions to their squad - bringing in winger Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham, and midfielder Giovani Lo Celso on loan from Real Betis.

Spurs had also been in talks to sign Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, but the deal fell through after Juve changed their mind about the sale at the last minute.

Elsewhere, Arsenal have confirmed the signing of defender David Luiz from Chelsea.

He is the Gunners' second purchase in 24 hours, after the signing of Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney.

In other significant transfers, Everton brought in forward Alex Iwobi from Arsenal, while Manchester United finalised the sale of Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan.
