COVID-19: Tokyo Olympics Will Go On As Planned

The Tokyo Olympics will go on as planned.
Organisers say its opening ceremony is still set to take place on July 24th, despite concerns about the the COVID-19 outbreak.
Meanwhile, the International Olympic Committee says it will work with the organisers and the Japanese govt to ensure that all athletes and spectators will NOT be affected by the virus.
This, after World Rugby authorities decided to postpone the Hong Kong and Singapore Sevens events, from April to October.
They are the latest sporting events to be impacted by the coronavirus outbreak, after the Chinese F1 GP was postponed.

Liverpool have officially entered the race to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
According to reports, the Anfield club have made contact with the German club, to open negotiations for the 19-year-old England international.
Liverpool are competing with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea for Sancho, who is worth over 100 million pounds.

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti is already keen to extend his contract at Goodison Park.
The Toffees' form has improved significanly since the Italian took charge, and are now in 7th place in the EPL table.
Ancelotti's current Everton deal runs until 2024.
