Barcelona desparate to offload Philippe Coutinho

Barcelona are pushing Philippe Coutinho to at least three Premier League clubs, in the hope of selling him before the close of the transfer window tomorrow.

Sources say Barca have approached Man United, Arsenal and Tottenham about the possibility of a bid for the Brazilian, who's yet to receive any solid offers this summer. 

Sources say the lack of interest could also force Barca to consider sending Coutinho out on loan.

Wayne Rooney to start player-coach role at Derby in January

Derby County have confirmed the signing of former England captain Wayne Rooney from DC United.

The striker will join the Championship side in January as a player and a coach alongside manager Philip Cocu.

The former Everton and Man United star says accepting the offer was a no-brainer, after already saying that he wants to move into management one day.

National archers continue fine run in Taiwan

The Malaysian archery squad continues to shine at the second leg of the Asia Cup in Taiwan.

They managed to pick up one gold, three silver and one bronze medal in the recurve events. 

It adds on to the four gold medals earlier won by our archers in the compound events.
