Hammer Blow To Arsenal's Title Hopes

West Ham have recorded their third straight EPL victory after a convincing 2-0 win over Arsenal this morning.

The Hammers end the calendar year sixth in the standings with 33 points…which is their highest-ever total at the halfway stage of a Premier League campaign.

Arsenal, meanwhile, missed the chance to go top of the table, lying in second place, two points adrift of leaders Liverpool.

Another EPL tie this morning saw Brighton thrash Tottenham 4-2 to end Spurs’ run of three straight league wins.

The Seagulls are now up into eighth place, while Tottenham stay fifth.

Meanwhile, in transfer news…Spurs’ veteran keeper Hugo Lloris is reportedly in talks to join Major League Soccer side Los Angeles FC.

Man City are said to have reached a deal to sign highly-rated River Plate midfielder Claudio Echeverri…with the 17-year-old likely to remain with the Argentine club on loan for the remainder of the season.

And, French giants PSG have reportedly rubbished speculation of a January move for Man United duo Jadon Sancho and Casemiro.
