Liverpool are the 2024/2025 Premier League champions!

It comes after their thumping 5-1 win over Tottenham at Anfield gave them an unassailable lead at the top of the standings.

They take the crown with four games to spare – becoming the seventh team to seal the title this early, a testament to their consistency and dominance throughout the campaign.

Their victory also means that we’re witnessing a new English champion being crowned after four seasons of dominance by Man City.

This is Liverpool’s 20^th top-flight title overall – equalling the record of Man United.

This win carries deeper significance, with former United captain Gary Neville even admitting that Liverpool are now without a doubt England’s most successful club.

He says it’s because while both Liverpool and United are tied on 20 league titles…the Reds have six European Cups to United’s three.

At the heart of this record-breaking season is manager Arne Slot. He is now only the fifth manager to win the Premier League title in his debut season in English football.

He joins an elite list of first-time winners that includes Jose Mourinho (Chelsea), Carlo Ancelotti (Chelsea), Manuel Pellegrini (Man City) and Antonio Conte (Chelsea).

Perhaps most memorable for Liverpool, is the fact that this is the first time since 1990 that The Reds are celebrating winning the league in front of their own supporters.

Their last EPL victory in 2020 - which was their first league title in 30 years - happened behind closed doors due to the Covid pandemic.

This time at least, Liverpool are not walking alone in celebrating their success at Anfield.
