Ngumoha Stunner Rescues Liverpool

Teenager Rio Ngumoha came off the bench to score a dramatic injury-time winner, to give Liverpool a 3-2 EPL win over Newcastle this morning.
The 16-year-old now enters the record books as the Reds’ youngest ever goal scorer.
He is also the fourth-youngest scorer in Premier League history behind James Vaughan, James Milner and Wayne Rooney.

Over in the Serie A…Marcus Thuram scored twice, as Inter Milan opened their league campaign with a convincing 5-0 victory over Torino.

Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka is set to be sidelined for up to four weeks after picking up a hamstring injury over the weekend.
He’s set to miss this weekend’s league clash against Liverpool…as well as England’s World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia.

Elsewhere…Bayern Munich have reportedly reached a deal with Chelsea to sign Nicolas Jackson on loan…as the striker seeks more first team football.

And, the Malaysian contingent has been crowned overall champions of the South East Asian Deaf Games with 25 gold medals, 16 silver and 11 bronze.
