Zii Jia makes early exit at World Championships

Lee Zii Jia is out of the BWF World Championships in Paris, France!  

The Malaysian men's singles ace was beaten in straight sets his opening round match, in his first competitive appearance after a long injury absence.  

Earlier, the men's doubles pair of Arif Junaidi – Yap Roy King beat their opponents to reach the second round.

EPL champions Liverpool will look to extend their winning start to the season, when they travel to Newcastle tomorrow morning.  

However, they'll be without new signing Jeremie Frimpong, after the right-back suffered a hamstring injury that will keep him out until the international break.  

It's their first match since the Alexander Isak transfer saga.

According to reports, West Ham have no immediate plans to sack boss Graham Potter, but it's believed that his job could depend on the results of their next few matches.  

The Hammers have lost both of their matches so far this season, with heavy defeats to Sunderland and Chelsea.
