Liverpool’s EPL match against Leeds this weekend has been postponed due to COVID-19 concerns.

Meanwhile, the clash between Wolves and Watford has also been called off because of the virus.

Leeds and Watford both requested for the postponement following a rise in coronavirus cases at the clubs.

Everton boss Rafa Benitez says he is surprised their EPL match against Burnley this weekend is going ahead, despite a rise in COVID-19 cases at Everton.

He says they may now have to rely on youngsters for the clash.

This comes after the Premier League agreed to postpone this weekend’s game between Liverpool and Leeds.

Meanwhile, Wolves’s match against Watford has also been called off due to the coronavirus.

Rangnik calls for 5-substitution rule to be reinstated

Ralf Rangnik wants the Premier League to bring back the rule allowing teams to make five substitutions.

The Man United interim boss says the rule was first implemented due to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, to save energy of players, especially those who had just recovered from the virus.

He reckons that most players would also be in favour of re-introducing the rule.
