Chelsea’s underperforming forward Timo Werner has been tipped to excel in tomorrow’s EFL Cup match against Aston Villa.

Everton manager Rafa Benitez is happy with his squad’s performance, despite this morning’s disappointing EFL Cup result against QPR.
The 8-7 defeat on penalties means the Toffees are out of the tournament, but Benitez is not discouraged, saying his players showed character and attitude on the pitch.
He adds, the current focus for his players is to rest and recuperate ahead of this weekend’s Premier League match.
