Liverpool are through to the League Cup final

Liverpool have booked their place in the League Cup final, after a 2-0 win over Arsenal in the semi-final second-leg.

Diogo Jota netted both goals for the Reds this morning…after last week’s first-leg had ended goalless.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will now take on Chelsea at Wembley next month, in what will be their first domestic cup final in six years.

PSG are reportedly starting to make their move for former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane.

They’re hoping to have the Frenchman in before next season, to replace Mauricio Pochettino…who’s widely rumored to be joining Man United.

Everton have reportedly spoken to Fabio Cannavaro about taking over from the sacked Rafa Benitez.

The former Italy captain is without a club, since ending his four-year spell in charge of Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande.

The BAM will let its coaches decide, whether to pick Lee Zii Jia for next month’s Badminton Asia Team Championship.

This, after Zii Jia opted to quit the national setup and become a professional shuttler.

The governing body did not rule out a combination of BAM and professional players, to ensure the best squad possible for the tournament.

Meanwhile, Datuk Lee Chong Wei has chimed in regarding Lee Zii Jia’s decision to quit the BAM.

The badminton legend says Zii Jia sought his advice before quitting, and admitted to not being able to handle the pressure, although he didn’t give specifics.

Chong Wei adds that he didn’t try to influence Zii Jia’s decision, but instead told the young shuttler to reach an amicable solution with the BAM.
