KBS Ready To Assist Zii Jia

The Youth and Sports Ministry is prepared to offer assistance to injured professional shuttler Lee Zii Jia.
Minister Hannah Yeoh says they’re open to working together with the player, to help ensure he returns to action in better condition.
This, after Zii Jia called an early end to his 2025 season due to ankle and back injuries.

Separately, the Ministry says it will work together with the Home Ministry to sort out matters related to the national football team’s heritage player controversy.
It says the Home Ministry plays a key role, since criminal matters fall under its jurisdiction.
This, following reports that FIFA is set to launch a formal investigation into the FAM’s internal operations, following the alleged use of doctored documents in the naturalization of seven national team players.

Morocco and PSG right-back Achraf Hakimi has been named the 2025 African Footballer of the Year.
He beat Mo Salah and Victor Osimhen to the honour…after helping PSG to the French title and their first ever Champions League trophy.
Hakimi is also the first Moroccan to win the award since Mustapha Hadji back in 1998.
