Man United close in on EPL leaders

Marcus Rashford continued his hot streak…netting a brace in Man United’s 3-0 EPL win over Leicester.

The England international has now scored 16 goals since the World Cup…and has 24 goals and eight assists overall across all competitions this campaign.

The win leaves United third in the standings, only three points behind second placed Man City.

It also provides a morale booster ahead of their Europa League playoff second leg against Barcelona this Friday.

In other EPL results, Son Heung Min netted just five minutes after coming off the bench, as Tottenham enjoyed a 2-0 home win over West Ham 

Spurs are now into the top four, seven points adrift of Man United.

In La Liga action, Barcelona beat Cadiz 2-0, to re-establish an eight-point lead at the top of the table.

The Catalans have now successfully kept 17 clean sheets in 22 league games this season.

And, in the French league, Lionel Messi scored a stunning last minute free kick as PSG beat Lille 4-3.

The goal is the Argentine’s 11th of the league season, and the 61st free kick goal of his career.
