Curacao (and their manager) make World Cup history

Curacao will be the smallest-ever nation to compete in the World Cup, after the Caribbean island qualified for the tournament for the first time ever.  

Curacao has a population of around 150,000, which is LESS than the entire state of Perlis.  

Meanwhile Curacao's manager Dick Advocaat will also make history at next year's World Cup.

At 78, the Dutchman will be the oldest coach there.

Man United have reportedly suspended new contract talks with midfielder Kobbie Mainoo.  

This comes amid rumours that the England player is considering a loan move to Napoli in the January transfer window.

Aston Villa will reportedly allow goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez to leave the club in the January transfer window.  

The relationship between between Villa and Martinez has reportedly soured, after he was denied a possible move to Man United last summer.

Several more of our reps have posted opening-round wins at the Australian badminton Open.  

In the mixed doubles, would champions Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei defeated fellow Malaysians Wong Tien Ci – Lim Chiew Sien, but Jimmy Wong – Lai Pei Jing crashed out.  

Men's doubles pair Arif Junaidi – Yap Roy King advanced to the second round.
