The first COVID-19 case has been detected at the Paralympic Village in Tokyo, a week before the Games open.
This comes as Japan battles a record wave of infections.
Spectators have already been banned from attending the Paralympics, but critics are concerned that might not be enough to curb the spread of infection.
4,400 athletes are expected to take part in the 2020 Paralympics, including representatives from Malaysia.

Manchester City are reportedly willing to up their offer for Tottenham’s Harry Kane to £150 million.
This comes amid rumours that Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy is refusing to answer calls from City regarding his prized wantaway striker.
The Independent reports that although the £150 million offer might not be enough to seal the deal, it could at least open negotiations.
Kane has been left out of Spurs’ UEFA Conference League playoff tie in Portugal, amid intense speculation about his future.
