tuchel agrees to become england boss

Thomas Tuchel has reportedly agreed to become the next England manager.

According to UK sources, he will formally take charge next month, replacing interim boss Lee Carsley, who’s been filling in since Gareth Southgate’s resignation after the Euros.

If confirmed, the ex-Chelsea and Bayern Munich boss will become only the third non-British manager of the Three Lions after Sven Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello.

In selected Nations League results from this morning, Scotland held Portugal to a goalless draw

Spain defeated Serbia 3-0

Switzerland and Denmark drew 2-2

While Poland and Croatia played out a 3-3 draw.

In Asian Zone World Cup qualifiers…

Australia held Japan to a 1-1 draw

China defeated Indonesia 2-1

While South Korea had a 3-2 win over Iraq.
