Pearly/Thinaah Win First '24 Title!

National shuttlers Pearly Tan/M Thinaah have made history!  

The duo has become the first Malaysian pair to win the women’s doubles title at the Hong Kong badminton Open! 

This, after they defeated their opponents from China in straight sets during the final yesterday to secure the perfect Malaysia Day gift.  

It's also their first BWF Super 500 series title this year, with their last one being at the French Open in 2022.

In Premier League action, Arsenal emerged victorious in yesterday's thrilling North London derby after defeating Tottenham 1 – nil. 

Meanwhile, Newcastle moved into third place in the EPL standings after fighting back from a halftime deficit to beat Wolves 2 – 1.

And McLaren are leading the F1 constructor's championship standings for the first time in a decade!  

This comes after Oscar Piastri won the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc came in second, and George Russell in the Mercedes finished third.
