Holders Chelsea have been drawn to face French club Lille, in the last-16 of the Champions League.

As for the other Premiership sides…Man City were drawn against Sporting Lisbon…Liverpool will play Inter Milan…while Man United face Atletico Madrid.

The standout tie of the round will see 13-time winners Real Madrid taking on French giants PSG.

The rest of the Champions League draw pitted Bayern Munich against RB Salzburg…Benfica will take on Ajax…while Villarreal are up against Juventus.

Manchester United has confirmed that tomorrow’s EPL tie against Brentford has been postponed.

It comes after several of United’s first team players and staff contracted Covid-19.

They were among 42 positive cases reported across the Premier League over the past week…with Brighton, Tottenham, Leicester, Aston Villa and Norwich also confirming infections.

Malaysia’s Lee Zii Jia is through to the second round of the BWF World Championships, after an opening win over his Canadian opponent.

He joins compatriots Liew Darren, and mixed doubles shuttlers Hoo Pang Roon and Cheah Yee See, who also advanced yesterday.

Paris is planning the biggest Olympics opening ceremony in history.

The hosts of the 2024 Games have unveiled an ambitious plan for a 6-kilometer long parade of athletes on boats along the River Seine.

There will also be performances along the river bank and other key locations around the city, with an expected crowd of almost 600 thousand in attendance.

It will also be the first opening ceremony of the Summer Games to be held outside of a stadium.
