Man City have cruised into the FA Cup fourth round after an 8-0 thrashing of Salford.

James McAtee was the star for the Citizens with a second half hattrick, while Jack Grealish also scored his first goal in more than year.

There were no major surprises elsewhere in the competition with Chelsea thumping Morecambe 5-0.

Liverpool overcame Accrington Stanley 4-0.

Brighton had a 4-0 win over Norwich.

While Nottingham Forest defeated Luton 2-0.

Elsewhere, Harry Kane scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot…as Bayern Munich defeated Borussia Monchengladbach 1-0 to restore their four-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga standings.

Serie A action saw AC Milan held to a 1-1 draw by Cagliari.

Torino and Juventus also drew 1-1.

While Atalanta and Udinese played out a goalless draw.

Back home…leaders JDT opened up a 14 point lead at the top of the Malaysian Super League standings after beating Sabah 4-0.

While Kuching City recorded a 2-0 win over PDRM.

And, local shuttlers Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai, Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei and Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun have all lost to their respective opponents in the semifinals of the Malaysian Badminton Open.
