Southgate believes Euro finals biggest test for Three Lions

England boss Gareth Southgate has likened their Euro 2020 finals against Italy as the biggest possible test for the Three Lions.

However, Southgate says while Italy will be a tough defensive nut to crack, he relishes the opportunity to go head-to-head with one of the top teams in football.

England will take on Italy Monday morning in their first ever European Championship final.

Meanwhile, the UK PM is considering suggestions of a public holiday if the Three Lions win the cup.

Former MU manager Louis van Gaal reportedly linked as Netherland boss

Former Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is rumoured to be The Netherland’s top target to head the national side.

Former boss Frank de Boer quit after Holland’s shock Euro 2020 round of 16 defeat.

If the 69-year-old accepts the job, it will be his third stint in charge of the national side.

Barca reportedly slashes Memphis Depay’s pay

Barcelona’s financial woes have seen them slash Memphis Depay’s salary by 30% just weeks after signing the striker.

The Nou Camp had reportedly been unable to officially register Depay with La Liga because it had exceeded the Spanish league’s strict salary limit.

This means other new signings Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia might also be facing a wage cut.
