Isak Frozen Out Of Newcastle's Remaining Friendlies

Alexander Isak will NOT feature in either of Newcastle’s upcoming pre-season friendlies against Espanyol and Atletico Madrid.  

The Sweden striker continues to be frozen out of the first team, amid strong interest from Liverpool.  

The Magpies have already rejected one bid from the EPL champions and insist he will NOT be sold until they’ve signed a replacement.

Chelsea defender Levi Colwill is expected to miss a large chunk of the upcoming Premier League season, after undergoing surgery on an ACL injury.  

Colwill suffered the injury in training earlier this week, and could be out for up to 8 months.

Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane has paid tribute to his former Tottenham teammate Son Heung-min, after the South Korean attacker joined Los Angeles FC.  

Kane says he had a special connection with Son, which helped them become one of the best partnerships in Premier League history.

American fourth seed Ben Shelton has won his first ATP Masters, after beating Karen Khachanov in the final of the Canadian Open. 

Meanwhile, Canadian teenager Victoria Mboko stunned Naomi Osaka to win the women’s singles title.
