Msia 4-1 Laos: U-23 Boss Hails SEA Games Opening Win
Dec 07, 2025

Our Under-23 football coach is proud of his squad, after they overcame multiple challenges to beat Laos 4-1 in their opening SEA Games match.
Nafuzi Zain says this includes scheduling issues, which meant that some players were unable to have a single training session with the team.
He also praised their mental strength, as they managed to fight back after conceding in just the 4th minute.
The result means Harimau Muda are level with Vietnam at the top of Group B, and they'll face each other on Thursday to determine the group winner.

Mo Salah could be heading for a showdown with Liverpool, after he criticised boss Arne Slot and the club's top management following their 3-3 Premier League draw with Leeds.
Salah, who's been benched for the last three games, says his relationship with Slot has completely broken down.
He also feels like he's being made a scapegoat for their problems this season.
