Slot Defends Trent

Liverpool boss Arne Slot defended Trent Alexander Arnold, over his disappointing performance in this morning's 2-2 draw against Man United.  

Critics had suggested it was due to the right-back being distracted by rumours linking him with Real Madrid.  

However, Slot says Alexander Arnold was simply finding it difficult to cope against a United squad who were in good form.  

Meanwhile, Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk admits they were lucky to escape with a draw, because the result could have been a lot worse. 

Liverpool currently have a 6-point lead in the Premier League table, in a weekend where their main title rivals Arsenal and Chelsea also dropped points.

Leong Jun Hao says he's not feeling any additional pressure ahead of the Malaysian badminton Open.  

This, as he will be our only local rep in the men's singles, following Lee Zii Jia's injury withdrawal.  

Jun Hao he will kick off his campaign with a first-round clash against the world No. 16 from China.

Meanwhile, the national women's doubles coach says Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah are targeting to reach at least the Malaysian Open semifinals.  

Pearly-Thinaah will begin their campaign against an Indonesian duo, and could potentially face the Chinese top seeds if they reach the last-four.
