In other results, Newcastle picked up their first win of the season…beating Burnley 1-0

While Southampton and Brighton played out a 1-1 draw.

In La Liga, Xavi suffered his first defeat as Barcelona boss with the Catalan side going down 1-0 to Real Betis.

Leaders Real Madrid defeated Real Sociedad 2-0
