Shereen Samson Vallabouy is turning her attention back to her training in the US, after missing out on the Olympics wildcard.

The national 400m record holder is hoping the stronger competition in the States, will help her improve further.

This, after sprinter Azeem Fahmi was given the wildcard slot for the Paris Games, since we were only offered places in the 100 and 800m as well as marathon events, which are not Shereen’s specialties.

Spain has brushed off the home advantage for their Euro 2024 quarterfinal opponents Germany.

Coach Luis de la Fuente instead feels that playing in front of the home supporters will only add more pressure on the Germans, which could affect their performance.
