Klopp Confirms Matip Injury

Liverpool defender Joel Matip could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines. 

This is after boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Matip suffered a knee injury, their Premier League win over Fulham. 

He will undergo further scans to determine the extent of the problem. 

Matip joins a treatment room that already includes Alisson Becker, Diogo Jota, Thiago Alcantara, Andy Robertson and Stefan Bajcetic.

Brazil already have a written agreement in place, that Carlo Ancelotti will become their national team manager next year. 

According to reports, the document confirms that Ancelotti is willing to take the job, when his contract as Real Madrid boss expires at the end of the season. 

But despite this, Real are believed to be thinking about offering the Italian a contract extension, amid their good form. 

The Spanish giants are currently unbeaten in 13 matches, and won each of their last 5 games.
