Van Dijk's recovery time unknown

Oct 24, 2020

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says he doesn’t know when defender Virgil Van Dijk will return from injury.

He says all they can do is let him recover at his own time.

“On when the surgery will happen and stuff like this, I don’t think it makes sense to give it a time schedule.”

Van Dijk suffered a serious knee injury during last weekend’s Merseyside Derby.

Mesut Ozil's agent slams boss Arteta's decision

Midfielder Mesut Ozil’s agent has reportedly criticized Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, over his decision to leave Ozil out from the club’s Premier League and Europa league squads.

According to reports, the agent says Ozil has been performing well for Arsenal, and that there was no reason for the playmaker to be left out.

Ozil’s current deal with the club is set to end next summer, and the midfielder intends to remain with Arsenal despite his lack of game time.
