Salah back in training

Oct 29, 2019

Mohamed Salah is back in training, after the Liverpool star picked up an ankle problem in last weekend's win over Tottenham.

According to reports, it may be too soon for Salah to feature in their League Cup last-16 clash against Arsenal on Thursday morning.

However, he could play in Saturday's Premiership match at Aston Villa.

Man United have already identified a potential replacement for Paul Pogba, who continues to be linked with Real Madrid.

According to reports, the Red Devils are monitoring Lille forward Boubakary Soumare, whose playing style has been compared to Pogba's.

The 20-year-old Frenchman has impressed in Ligue 1 this season and also featured for Lille in their Champions League games against Valencia and Chelsea.

South Africa fullback Cheslin Kolbe is expected to return to fitness in time for the Rugby World Cup final against England.

He missed the Springboks' semi-final win against Wales due to an ankle injury.
