Nicol named mentor for national SEA Games contingent

Nov 28, 2019

Datuk Nicol David has been named as a mentor for the national SEA Games contingent.

The Youth and Sports Minister says he hopes that the presense of the squash legend in Manila will help spur our athletes to succeed.

Meanwhile, Nicol says she's honoured to be given the chance to share her experiences with the contingent.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is refusing to comment on rumours linking him with Arsenal.

He says discussing the issue would be disrespectful to current Gunners manager Unai Emery.

Emery could lose his job due to the Gunners' disappointing form, and Espirito Santo is reported to be the favourite to replace him.

This is due to the Portuguese manager's success at Wolves, guiding them to the Europa League, while they currently lie in 5th place in the EPL table.

City chairman dismisses Bayern Munich Guardiola talk

Man City's chairman says he has no doubts about manager Pep Guardiola's commitment to the club.

He says Guardiola is completely happy at the reigning EPL champions, and is not thinking of moving elsewhere.

Recent reports had linked him with a possible return to former club Bayern Munich, who are looking for a new head coach after sacking Niko Kovac recently.
