Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solksjaer was left regretting his decision to play Marcus Rashford in this morning's FA Cup 3rd round replay.

United beat Wolves 1-nil, but the victory was bittersweet, as Rashford picked up a back injury.

Solksjaer says ideally, Rashford should have been sidelined, to keep him fit for Sunday's all important premiership clash with Liverpool.

He said, "I didnt want to play him but we needed the win, and he was involved in the goal...we will do everything we can to get im fit for Sunday".

The Norwegian boss says they'll test the striker in the next couple of days to see if he's ready for the EPL game.
