McTominay fires Man Utd into the FA Cup quarterfinals

Man United have made the quarterfinals of the FA Cup after a hard-fought 1-0 win over West Ham.
The Red Devils left it late, with Scott McTominay snatching the winner in the seventh minute of extra-time.

United are now through to the FA Cup quarterfinals for the seventh successive year.
Another match saw Bournemouth reach the last eight for the first time in 64 years, with a surprise 2-0 win over Burnley.

Juventus are thru to the final of the Coppa Italia after their goalless draw with Inter Milan in this morning’s semifinal second-leg, gave them a 2-1 win on aggregate.
Juve will next face the winners of the other semifinal between Napoli and Atalanta.
Ramos on his way out

Real Madrid have reportedly accepted that captain Sergio Ramos will leave this summer.
Insiders say the club will not make any more attempts to convince the veteran defender to stay, after he made it clear to them that his future lies elsewhere.
A host of top European sides, including PSG, are rumoured to be keen on signing Ramos.
F1 to vote on ‘Sprint’ races

Formula One teams and bosses are set to vote later this week, on a proposal to add a ‘sprint’ race to race weekends, in a bid to make the sport more exciting.
The separate, shorter race would take place on a Saturday, with the finishing positions to determine the starting grid for Sunday’s main GP.
Qualifying for the sprint race would be held on the Friday of a race weekend – which normally does not attract many television viewers.
