Liverpool extend remarkable unbeaten run

Liverpool have beaten Tottenham 1-nil in their English Premier League clash this morning. 

This means that Liverpool are now 16 points clear of 2nd placed Leicester, who lost 2-1 to Southampton.

The result also means that they have set a new top-tier record, becoming the first team in any of Europe's top leagues to start a season with 20 wins and one draw. 

Meanwhile, Manchester United crushed Norwich 4-nil at Old Trafford, thanks to a Marcus Rashford brace, and a goal each from Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood. 

United are in 5th place in the League table. 

Elsewhere, Arsenal and Crystal Palace drew 1-all

Chelsea beat Burnley 3-nil 

Everton pipped Brighton 1-nil 

And Wolves and Newcastle had a 1-all draw.

Qatari football club, Al-Sadd has confirmed that head coach, Xavi is in talks to return to his former club Barcelona. 

Xavi, who spent 17 years as a player at the Catalan club, is being tipped to replace boss Ernesto Valverdo, who's under fire following Barca's defeat in the Spanish Super Cup semis.

Lee Zii Jia has crashed out in the semifinals of the Msian Badminton Masters, losing to world no.1 Kento Momota. 

Chan Peng Soon-Goh Liu Ying crashed out in the mixed doubles semis.
