Inter rule out Messi bid

Inter Milan have ruled out a bid for Lionel Messi. 

The Serie A club say they have neither the intention nor the financial means to engineer a deal for the six-time Ballon d'Or winner.

The comments come after Inter were earlier linked with a move for Messi, along with Man City and PSG, if the player ends up leaving Barcelona.

Gabriel is a Gunner

Arsenal have completed the signing of Lille defender Gabriel for just over 23 million pounds.

The 22-year-old made 34 appearances for the French club last season, helping them to a fourth place league finish.

He joins the Gunners on a long-term contract.

Farah eyes retirement

Farah Ann Abdul Hadi plans to retire after next year's Tokyo Olympics.

The Malaysian Gymnastics Federation says the 26-year-old multiple SEA Games gold medalist has already informed them of her intention to call it a day.

However, the Federation is hoping that Farah will consider staying on a bit longer for the 2023 SEA Games.
