Hamilton admits his Belgian GP win was boring

Aug 31, 2020

Lewis Hamilton has claimed an easy win at the Belgian F1 GP

The Mercedes driver led every lap from pole to the chequered flag, to finish the race 8 seconds ahead of teammate Valtteri Bottas, while Red Bull's Max Verstappen came in third.

It was his 5th win in 7 races.

Meanwhile, he admits that he'd be bored of his dominance too, if he were just a spectator watching the race.

He says it reminds him of his teenaged years watching the legendary Michael Shumacher, as he'd often fall asleep in the middle of the race.

Last night's win means that Hamilton is now 47 points clear in the driver's championship.

Chelsea Eye 3 More Signings

Chelsea could reportedly make 3 more signings before the end of the summer transfer window.

The Blues have already spent heavily on Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner and Ben Chilwell, while they've also snapped up defenders Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr on free transfers.

In addition to this, Chelsea are still in the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz and West Ham's Declan Rice.

They are also in the market for a new goalkeeper.

Man United Joins Thiago Alcantara Race

Man United have reportedly joined the race to sign Thiago Alcantara from Bayern Munich.

The midfielder is widely expected to leave the German treble-winners this season, and has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool.

But talks with the Anfield club have supposedly dragged on, and it's believed that United could make an attempt to hijack the move.
