Federer hopeful over groin injury

Bruno Fernandes says he will give "everything" to bring "success and trophies" to his new club Manchester United.

This is after the midfielder completed his move from Sporting Lisbon, after signing a deal until 2025. 

United snapped up Fernandes in a deal worth 47 million pounds, but it could rise to as much as 67 million, depending on add-ons.

Fernandes could make his debut in this weekend's EPL game against Wolves.

Roger Federer hopes to quickly bounce back from the groin injury that affected his campaign at this year's Australian Open. 

Federer was beaten by Novak Djokovic in the semifinals last night, and the Swiss's next game will be a charity match against Rafa Nadal in Cape Town South Africa next week.. 

"I hope I'm somewhat fine for South Africa, that's something I can somewhat control. But then you want to be 100 percent to be able to train again and get hopefully get ready for Dubai. Right now it's only guessing." 

Meanwhile today's semifinal will see Dominic Thiem taking on Alexander Zverev.
