EFL Cup Semis Lineup Complete

Tottenham are thru to the semifinals of the EFL Cup, with a 2-0 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this morning.

Son Heung Min and Dele Alli got on the scoresheet for Spurs to secure a win over their bitter London rivals.

The match, however, was marred by an incident where Alli was hit on the head by a plastic bottle, supposedly thrown by one of the Gunners supporters.

Another match saw Chelsea record a 1-nil win over Bournemouth.

The tie appeared to be heading for penalties, before Eden Hazard scored the winner for the Blues in the 84th minute. 

Spurs will next take on Chelsea in the semifinals, while the other last-four encounter will be between Manchester City and Burton Albion.
