Chelsea fail to capitalise on some favourable weekend EPL results

Apr 23, 2019

Chelsea have moved above Arsenal into fourth in the Premier League table, despite being held to a 2-all draw by Burnley at Stamford Bridge this morning.

All four goals were scored in the opening 24 minutes, as N'Golo Kante and Gonzalo Higuain struck shortly after Jeff Hendrick had given the visitors the lead, only for Ashley Barnes to level things up.

It was also a frustrating match for The Blues, as Kante and Callum Hudson-Odoi picked up injuries, while manager Maurizio Sarri was sent to the stands towards the end.

Burnley, meanwhile, are now almost certainly safe from relegation with three games to go, holding a nine-point advantage over 18th-placed Cardiff.

James Milner is supporting Man Utd for once

Liverpool midfielder James Milner has admitted he will support Man United for the first time, when the Red Devils face Man City in the Premiership on Thursday.

The Manchester derby is City's game in hand on the league leaders, and victory will move them one point above the Reds in the table, with three matches of the season remaining.

Oltmans feeling good about FIH Series Finals

National men's hockey coach Roelant Oltmans is confident his side will do well at the FIH Series Finals, which will be held in Bukit Jalil, starting this Friday.

He says the players have shown significant improvement in training, as they understand the importance of winning the competition - to keep alive their chances of qualifying for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

The Speedy Tigers will take on Wales in a warm-up match tomorrow, ahead of their opening Group B tie against Brazil on Friday.
