Brazil wins Copa America

Brazil have won their first Copa America title in 12 years, after an entertaining 3-1 victory over Peru in the final.

Everton Soares, Gabriel Jesus and Richarlison all found the back of the net, to secure a ninth title for the host nation.

This morning's title decider also saw Everton named Man of the Match.

Sivasangari wins Australian Open

National squash player S. Sivasangari has secured her 11th PSA title, after winning the Australian Open women's singles title.

The 20-year-old is only the third Malaysian to win the tournament, following Datuk Nicol David's success in 2011 and 2012, and Low Wee Wern last year.

Meanwhile, Mohd Syafiq had to settle for second place, going down to his French opponent in the men's singles final.

Fazriq wins National Junior Circuit Championship

Muhammad Fazriq, son of national men's doubles legend Datuk Razif Sidek, has won the National Junior Circuit Grand Prix Badminton Championship.

The 15-year-old also took home the men's doubles title, after he and his teammate Hoh Shou Wei beat their BAM compatriots in the final.
