Bianca Andreescu extends impressive US Open run into semifinals

Canadian tennis star Bianca Andreescu has become the first teenager in a decade to reach the semifinals of the US Open.
The 19-year-old fought back from a set down to beat Belgium's Elise Mertens 3-6, 6-2, 6-3.
She will next take on Belinda Bencic, who'll be playing in her first Grand Slam semifinal, after beating Donna Vekic in straight sets.
Over in the men's draw, Italian underdog Matteo Berrettini was stretched to five sets, before eventually beating Gael Monfils in their quarterfinal matchup.
Berrettini awaits the winner of the ongoing tie between Rafael Nadal and Diego Schwartzman.

Malaysian MLS player looks to play for country
Sporting Kansas City midfielder Wan Kuzain Wan Kamal has expressed his desire to play for Malaysia.
The 21-year-old, who was born in America to Malaysian parents, is also eligible to play for the US.
The FAM says its already working out a deal for the Major League Soccer player, to feature for either the Malaysian Under-23 or senior team.

Mandzukic and Can could be out of Juventus in January
Juventus are reportedly looking to offload Mario Mandzukic and Emre Can during the January transfer window.
Both are deemed surplus to requirements at the Serie A champions, and were recently left out of Juve's squad for the Champions League.
