90 mins to decide Premiership title

May 12, 2019

Right down to the wire...

Influential Man City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has recovered from his hamstring problem, and could feature in tonight's Premiership title decider against Brighton.

City head into the match with a one point lead over Liverpool in the standings, knowing that victory over Brighton will guarantee them their second-successive league title.

The Reds, meanwhile, must beat Wolverhampton and hope that City drop points...if they're to bring the title back to Anfield.

Sanchez piques Juve's interest

Alexis Sanchez's agent has reportedly met with Juventus, about a possible move for the under-performing Man United striker.

The Chilean has only managed five goals in 45 appearances for the Red Devils, and is widely expected to leave Old Trafford in the summer.

Juve's Serie A rivals Inter Milan are also said to be keen on securing Sanchez's services.

Bertens wins in Madrid...Rafa crashes out

Kiki Bertens has won the women's title at the Madrid Tennis Open, with a surprise win over Simona Halep.

This is the biggest title of Berten's career so far...while for Halep, defeat means she misses out on overtaking Naomi Osaka as world number one.

Meanwhile, Rafa Nadal has crashed out of the men's draw, after a semifinal defeat to Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Tsitsipas will now go on to face Novak Djokivic in the final later today.
