Euro 2024: Austria Stun The Netherlands

Austria have pulled off one of the biggest shocks at Euro 2024 so far, beating the Netherlands 3-2 to advance to the knockout stage as Group D winners.

This, as France secured the runners-up spot in the group, after their 1-1 draw with Poland.

Despite their defeat…the Netherlands still managed to advance to the last-16, as one of the four best third-placed teams.

Meanwhile, England confirmed their place as Group C winners, despite a goalless draw with Slovenia.

While Denmark finished second in the group, after their match against Serbia also ended goalless.

Real Madrid have confirmed that captain Nacho Fernandez is leaving after 23 years at the La Liga club.

The 34-year-old is now expected to join Saudi first division side Al Qadsiah.
