vivian hoo calls time on career

Malaysian women's doubles shuttler Vivian Hoo has announced her retirement plans.

She told the NST, she will hang up her racket after next year's Malaysian badminton Open.

The 34-year-old has been competing for around 18 years, and during that time she has won gold in the 2013 SEA Games, and the Commonwealth Games in 2014 and 2018.

Next year's Malaysian Open is scheduled to take place from 7th to the 12th of January.

Liverpool boss Arne Slot has made history, after his team beat Southampton 3-2 last night.

The result means he has now won 10 of his first 12 matches in the Premier League, equaling the record held by ex-Chelsea managers Guus Hiddink and Carlo Ancelotti.

Meanwhile, Slot has played down claims that they are currently the favorites to win this season's title.

Liverpool are currently have an 8-point lead over Man City in the standings, with the two teams facing each other at Anfield this weekend!

And German club Hamburg are reportedly keen on signing former Man United interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy.

He has also been linked with Leicester, after they sacked Steve Cooper.
