Pep: City's Title Hopes Could Be Over In A Week

pep: city's title hopes could be over in a week

Man City boss Pep Guardiola has warned that their Premier League title defense will be over, IF they lose to current leaders Liverpool next weekend.

This is after the reigning champions lost 4-0 at home to Tottenham, for their 5th defeat in all competitions.

It’s the first time in 18 years that City have lost 5 games in a row.

City are also the first reigning top-flight champions to lose five matches consecutively since Chelsea in 1956.

Liverpool will look to take advantage of Man City’s ongoing slump, when the Merseyside giants travel to Southampton tonight.

A win will see the Merseyside giants take an eight-point lead over 2nd-placed City

Trent Alexander Arnold will miss the game through injury, but Harvey Elliot could make his comeback from a foot problem.

The Badminton Association of Malaysia has officially named Denmark’s Kenneth Jonassen as our new national singles coach, and he’ll start work on January 4th.

Jonassen previously helped Viktor Axelsen win the Olympic gold medal in 2021 and the 2017 world title.
