Lionel Messi has topped ESPN’s list of the best footballers of the 21st century.

The Argentine World Cup winner came in ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo, Thierry Henry, Zinedine Zidane and Luka Modric.

Except for Henry, all the players in the top five are former Ballon d’Or winners.

Kylian Mbappe, Barcelona legends Xavi and Andres Iniesta, and Brazilian legends Ronaldo and Ronaldino rounded up the top ten.
