It is confirmed that Malaysia’s Olympic silver medalist diver Cheong Jun Hoong will not be participating at the Tokyo Games.

This, after the sport’s governing body FINA made a last-minute change to the qualifying rules, to only let in the top 15 ranked divers instead of 18.

Jun Hoong had finished 18th at a recent qualifying event.
