Spurs Wont's Sacrifice Attacking Philosophy
Dec 23, 2024

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglu insists he will not sacrifict his brand of attacking football, despite their current injury crisis.
Spurs have 7 senior players sidelined including their no.1 goalkeeper and several key defenders.
However he insists this will NOT force him to adopt more cautious tactics.
He said this after Spurs heavy 6-3 defeat to Liverpool this morning.
They have also conceded nine goals in their last two matches

Meanwhile Postecoglu says that Spurs need to invest in new players in January.
It's to help his injury ravaged team cope with a packed schedule that includes an EFL Cup semifinal, while they will also compete in the FA Cup from next month.

Man United boss Ruben Amorim reckons one of his biggest challenges, will be to improve his team's mental strength.
Speaking after their 3-0 loss to Bournemouth, he says the players felt nervous amid the pressure they are facing due to their results.
United are currently in 13th place in the Premier League table and have won just two of their last five games.
They will continue their campaign on Boxing Day, away at Wolves.

Also, Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola has urged the club not to get too carried away, after their victory moved them up to 5th place in the standings.
He reckons it's still too early into the season to look at their league placing.
