Matheus Nunes netted an injury-time winner, as Man City overcame Aston Villa 2-1 in their EPL clash this morning.

It moves City up to third in the standings, one point ahead of fourth-placed Nottingham Forest.

Just four points currently separate the third to seventh placed teams, as the race for European places heats up.

Over in Spain…Barcelona have opened a seven-point lead at the to of La Liga, after a 1-0 win over Mallorca.

Second-place Real Madrid will take on Getafe tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Real boss Carlo Ancelotti says he’s not concerned about ongoing speculation regarding his future…in the wake of the club’s recent elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Arsenal.

Simone Biles says she’s unsure if she will compete at the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028…as she considers the toll that gymnastics has taken on her body.

Biles – who is the most decorated gymnast of all time -  will be 31 when the LA Games comes around.

And, the Ferrari F1 team says it continues to stand behind Lewis Hamilton, despite his poor start to the season…where he’s finished no higher than fifth across the five GP’s so far.
