Arsenal Slip Up In The EPL Title Race

Second-placed Arsenal have missed the chance to close the gap on the EPL leaders after falling to a 1-0 defeat to West Ham at the Emirates.

It leaves the Gunners eight points adrift of table-toppers Liverpool.

In other selected results, Manuel Ugarte netted an equalizer ten minutes from time as Man United salvaged a 2-2 draw with Everton.

Aston Villa came from behind to beat Chelsea 2-1.

While Tottenham had a 4-1 win over Ipswich.

Over in La Liga…Barcelona moved to the top of the table after beating Las Palmas 2-0, while Atletico Madrid defeated Valencia 3-0.

Elsewhere, Inter Milan moved one point clear at the Serie A summit, after a 1-0 win over Genoa.

Back home…Selangor have won the Challenge Cup after a 4-0 win over PDRM in the second-leg of the final to wrap up a 7-0 victory on aggregate.

This is the Red Giants’ first trophy in 10 years.
